About
BASIconsult was founded by Dr. Bahodir Sidikov, a scholar and practitioner whose work spans academic research, field consulting, and intercultural training across more than two decades.
He holds a doctorate and post-doctoral qualification (habilitation) in Regional Studies and has advised public institutions, international organizations, and private clients on matters where conventional expertise falls short — where the gap between appearance and reality is widest.
Past and current clients include the World Bank, the German Foreign Office, the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, European telecommunications companies, and a range of private sector actors operating across Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and adjacent regions.
Where depth of expertise ends, a trusted network of field specialists begins — carefully selected, never disclosed.
